Steamboat

Officially known as the West Temple, this mountain is the tallest in Zion National Park,
rising some 4,000 feet above the canyon floor.
Because it is the predominant landmark one sees from any direction,
and because it seems to float above the desert floor like a big ship,
original settlers of the area dubbed it “Steamboat.” Some locals still call it that.
